Hello! Welcome to the Burt Township School District Hub for information on the Coronavirus Pandemic. Watch this space for pertinent updates related to guidance by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and our local district health department Luce, Mackinac, Alger, Schoolcraft (LMAS). This page will be updated throughout the year as things change based on the level of community transmission so please be sure to check back frequently.

Current recommendations:

– Please see this document for more specific details on current recommendations.

– We highly recommend and strongly encourage any individual within the school building 5 years and older to speak with their doctor about getting the Covid-19 vaccine.

– Masks required for elementary school students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

– Masks recommended but optional for middle and high school students, faculty, staff and visitors when able to social distance from elementary school students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

– Masks required for middle and high school students, faculty, staff, and visitors when unable to social distance (6 feet or greater) from elementary school students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

– Stay home if you are showing signs of infecious illness, get tested, and contact trace as needed.

– Wash your hands regularly.
